A UK Muslim Faith School Introduced Interactive Prayer Mats to their Students
Back in November 2019, My Salah Mat was approached by a brother named Javed. He is the headteacher at Bristol (BTIT) Islamic Sunday school. This school has spent over 25 years dedicated to teaching generations of children.
They currently have over 500 students enrolled at their school-aged between 4- 17 years old.
The school is compromised of 23 classes and a wide range of facilities such as classrooms, a sports hall, a sports field and a canteen area.
Brother Javed had contacted us in order to purchase the My Salah Mat for the students at his school. He believed that it was a great resource to encourage learning and the love of Salah in his young pupils. After a few months, MySalahMat decided to visit the school to ask about their experience with the prayer mat. When we arrived, we were welcomed with unlimited generosity and lots of tea and biscuits!
Brother Javed then showed us around his school. Alhamdulillah, the school is a very special and unique place and unlike anything, we have seen before.
We then had a number of conversations with staff and management about their ambitious plans. Brother Javed then led us to the classrooms to see the MySalahMat in action as a learning resource.
Alhamdulillah a young boy and girl began to perform the 2 Rakat prayer for the class and everyone was captivated. We were informed that each classroom has its own MySalahMat. Teachers are so inspired by the product that they are also encouraging parents to purchase one.
Before we left, Brother Javed expressed how pleased he was with MySalahMat. His belief in the product has led to the mat being introduced to many homes and classrooms and this gives My Salah Mat immense joy.

MySalahMat would like to give our sincere thanks and wish Ramadan Mubarak to Brother Javed and all the teachers and pupils at BTIT Islamic Sunday School.
About MySalahMat
My Salah Mat Interactive Kids Prayer Mat is a prayer mat designed to educate children on how to perform the Muslim prayer in a fun and enjoyable way. The interactive prayer mat is touch-sensitive and has pre-recorded keys that can be touched to reveal the sound, such as prayer times, how to do wudu, recite surahs, say duas, and much more.
It can teach children about the different times of salah and the various body movements and positions, and what to say during them. In order to make the learning process easy, My Salah Mat will guide the user through two Rakat of salah using a simple to understand format.
