We Donated Over $10,000 to MATW During Ramadan!
Over Ramadan, We Donated Over 10,000 to Charity, Alhamdulillah!
Two years ago we developed and published a book called Train To Al-Aqsa. Centred around one of Islam’s three major holy sites, the Al-Aqsa Sanctuary, the book holds special significance for Muslims worldwide. Co-authored by Dr. Wendy Booth and Kamal Ali, it features vivid illustrations by Charis Badiul Chusna.
Upon its launch, Train To Al-Aqsa received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. We sold over 1000 copies within two weeks. Since then, it has been translated into Dutch and German. In its first year, the book raised over £4500 for charity. This year, we’ve made it available as a downloadable PDF.
From the success of Train to Al-Aqsa, this year we released a new charitable book.
Our latest book, The Key, the Olive Tree and the Nakba is our act of charitable giving. It revolves around supporting vulnerable people, particularly those in Palestine. Charity holds great significance in my family and religion. Muslims who can give 2.5% of their wealth to charity each year.
We're proud to share that during Ramadan we raised over £10,000 pounds, which has been donated to the MATW project. They will be using this money to save lives in Palestine.
Everyone at My Salah Mat is amazed at what we have been able to achieve. It fills us with immense pride. Alhamdulillah.
