Who is the Founder of My Salah Mat?

I'm so happy to see so many new people interested in My Salah Mat. I'm unsure how this came to be, but it's pretty awesome.

A Little Bit About Me, the founder of My Salah Mat
I'd like to use this moment to introduce myself to all of my new and longtime followers. My name is Kamal Ali. In the simplest terms, Kamal means 'complete' and Ali stands for 'noble'. So, in a playful way, you could say I'm completely noble!

My Faith
If you haven't guessed, I'm a Muslim, meaning I follow the Islamic faith. This involves believing in one God and accepting Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the final messenger. I pray 5 times daily and fast during Ramadan. Each year, I donate 2.5% of my wealth to charity. In 2010, I was fortunate enough to perform the Hajj pilgrimage with my wife, a special journey Muslims aim to undertake. This pilgrimage allows me to be called a Hajji, an honour given to those who have completed the Hajj.

My Educational and Professional Journey
I hold a BA Hons in Design, achieved first-class honours, and have a master's degree in product design. I have been a high school teacher for nearly a decade, working locally and abroad. Some of my fondest memories are from my teaching years.

My Creative Endeavors
I am the designer, inventor, and founder of HAJJSAFE LIMITED and My Salah Mat. Mysalahmat has been granted a patent, the most significant achievement of my career as a designer.

My Work and Faith Combined
Alhamdulillah, I approach my work with unwavering dedication and a strong work ethic. Viewing my profession as a form of worship, I am driven to achieve excellence and deliver exceptional results. Striving for success is a professional pursuit and a means to fulfil my spiritual obligations and gain blessings in this life. It’s my ticket to Paradise. Insha’Allah.

My Family and Friends
I hold immense love for my family and friends who have supported me throughout my life. They give meaning to my existence and bring much happiness. Together, we've endured tough times and arrived where we are today.

What Drives Me
What keeps me motivated is constant awareness and gratitude for all the blessings I've received and those I continue to receive daily. Everything is a form of blessing.

My journey is fuelled by an ever-present sense of gratitude. Each blessing I've been gifted serves as a reminder that life is generous in its offerings. These gifts continue to flow as long as my heart remains thankful. But, the moment gratitude fades, so too does the beauty of the gift.
